The Back Bar is the retail side of Beauty Bar Muskoka — the same medical-grade skincare we reach for in treatment, available to take home.

Why "The Back Bar"

In any clinic, the back bar is the shelf behind the treatment room. It's where the professional-grade products live — the ones your provider actually uses on your skin, not the ones marketing decided to put in the front window.

That's what this shop is. No products we don't use. No lines we can't explain. If it's here, someone on our team reached for it during a treatment and thought it belonged in your routine too.

Who we are

Beauty Bar Muskoka is a nurse-led medical aesthetics clinic at 8 West Street South in Huntsville, Ontario. We've been treating skin here for five years, and across our team we've performed more than 20,000 treatments.

That matters for one reason: we've watched what these products do on real skin, over years, in a climate that runs from lake-glare summers to dry, wind-bitten winters. Our recommendations come from that, not from a brochure.

Clients first, everyone welcome

The Back Bar was built for our clients — so the routine you leave the clinic with is easy to keep up at home. But you don't need to have sat in our chair to shop here. We ship across Canada, and if you're not sure what's right for your skin, we'll help you work it out before you spend anything.

How to buy well

Medical-grade skincare is an investment, and buying the wrong thing is expensive twice — once for the product, once for the time you lose using it. A few things we'd tell a friend:

• Three products beat ten. A cleanser, a sunscreen, and one well-chosen active will do more than a crowded shelf.
• Sunscreen is the highest-return product you own. Everything else works harder when you're protecting the results.
• Give it twelve weeks. Skin turns over roughly every 28 days. Most actives need three full cycles before you can fairly judge them.
• Start low with retinol. Going too strong too fast is the single most common reason people quit a product that would have worked.
